In a tragic incident, the submersible that was on its way to explore the Titanic wreckage suffered a catastrophic implosion, resulting in the loss of all lives onboard.

The US Coast Guard revealed that the vessel disintegrated, and a search operation found a part of it over 1,600 feet away from the wreck. Those who lost their lives include Hamish Harding, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, Shahzada Dawood, Suleman Dawood, and Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate Expeditions.

The submersible was undertaking the expedition to investigate the remains of the famous ship, located 900 miles east of Cape Cod and 13,000 feet below sea level.
